How Founders works
User guide, technical design, business model and presentation flow.
Founder OS v1.53 adds a lightweight Review Rhythm on top of the v1.52 operational Assumption Watchlist. v1.52 lets founders save testable assumptions, define the evidence needed, set review dates, see overdue items, escalate a watched assumption into a Custom Mission, and carry the watchlist through portable backup/import/restore. v1.53 clarifies when to revisit work: daily for overdue blockers, weekly for follow-through and evidence gaps, monthly for material assumptions and strategic choices, with escalation into a mission when an unresolved item becomes material. The 9 mission paths, required Close / Continue / Pivot outcome, v1.42 Memory Intelligence, v1.43 SD1 Session Health, existing browser storage keys, and v1.39 verified return contract remain intact.
Founder OS v1.41 preserves the mission gate, mobile/accessibility redesign, Mission Brief, SD1 Mission Session and verified browser return contract. Company Memory now stores the company/project profile, current focus and a device-local Decision Log of up to 20 entries. A full portable backup includes recognized Founder OS state, profile, recent mission history and decisions. Import accepts the v1.41 workspace schema and older v1.40 Company Memory exports; before recognized fields are replaced, Founder OS stores a pre-import safety snapshot that can be restored from the interface. Import never executes JSON content and rejects files larger than 1 MB. Account/server persistence, RelayDesk signals and BrightWatcher resources remain future integrations.
Skill Desk One is the platform. Founders is the entrepreneur track.
SD1 owns the reusable skill/workflow platform. Founders applies it to entrepreneurs. Founder OS keeps each founder’s mission, evidence and decision context. Existing URLs remain unchanged.
Color now reflects completed missions on this device.
What do I do?
Choose a mission, review the Skill, finish the checklist, record evidence, log important decisions, keep Company Memory portable, then use AI Guide or the right human mentor.
How do we earn?
Free usage, Founder OS Pro, AI guidance, paid mentors and specialist services.
How is it built?
WordPress identity and Founder OS are live, with WPWriter as the primary deployment path. v1.41 adds browser-local decisions plus validated JSON backup/import with a pre-import restore point; v1.42 adds local Memory Intelligence; v1.43 adds browser-local SD1 session health and exact-session resume while preserving the existing nonce-matched verification contract. Persistent account missions/resources still require a future backend release and are intentionally deferred for the current WordPress-first phase.
How do we explain it?
The system helps the founder arrive prepared, so paid expert time is useful immediately.
Signal → decision → mission → learn fast → evidence → AI Guide / mentor
The brief is structured, not a random chat note.
Objective and fieldwork.
Facts and signals.
Interpretation and risk.
Session-ready context.
Free → Pro → AI value → paid mentor → services
The free layer creates useful habits. Pro sells private context and guidance. Paid mentors sell judgment. A $250 mentor session can pay $200 to the mentor and $50 to Founders.
Smallest useful resource first.
For each mission, Founder OS still prefers the minimum help required: one short Skill, one focused action and evidence. v1.41 extends that loop into Company Memory so important decisions live beside completed mission evidence instead of disappearing into chat history. The founder can download a complete device-local workspace backup, import it on another browser/device, and recover the state saved immediately before the last import. The interface keeps the larger touch targets, strong contrast, reduced-motion support and mobile-safe stacking.
Founders should assemble the right help around the mission.
SD1 Skills remains active at /skills/ as the reusable browse library, while /skills-session/ continues to provide the verified browser-level mission Skill loop documented at /skills-docs/integration/. Founder OS v1.43 adds a visible browser-local session-health layer on top of that loop: active mission, Skill proof state, last SD1 session status and exact-session resume are visible without exposing evidence in the URL. The portable workspace layer still keeps profile, decisions, active mission and recent evidence device-local without claiming account sync. The full /skills/ plugin library remains a separate browse engine; CarrySkills v3.9.3 is the verified active engine. Staged v3.12/v3.13 transport artifacts are not installed. Account/server verification, RelayDesk signals and BrightWatcher resources remain unwired, and backend v0.11 is deferred for a future account-level persistence/resource-ranking phase rather than the current WordPress-first deployment.
