BrightWatcher 1.0.0-RC1 — 1.0 Launch
The website at /bw is the central BrightWatcher product. Supabase remains the backend source of truth and Vercel remains paused. Current launch hardening has 4 of 8 gates passed, 2 pending and 2 blocked. The backend now holds 5,211 research candidates, 117 source-registry rows / 114 active sources, 15 vetted/public-Watch records, but only 4 are currently fully playable on the consumer feed. There are 31 item-level verified rights-cleared hosted assets in private BrightWatcher storage — including 14 locally hosted rights-cleared videos. Latest completed ingest run 137 recorded 4,861 observations, 10 accepted, 0 rejected and no error. A screenshot-driven mobile UX repair is now live: compact hero copy, readable light typography, a simplified navy/blue palette, single-column cards, no-wrap mobile navigation, and the technical app-build section removed from narrow-phone presentation. PREPARED checkpoint #39 records the rights-source-kind guard wave: item-level rights were revalidated for batch 001, but all 3 staged thumbnail rows were blocked before copy because their source URLs resolved to OGV video binaries rather than image thumbnails; the latest persisted readiness snapshot remains #7 and automated operations snapshot is #5. All 25 supported YouTube campaign jobs have real worker-attempt evidence, with current attempt counts ranging from 1 to 2; 8 unsupported web/TikTok jobs covering 3,750 requested items remain paused until validated collectors exist, leaving an active queue of 25 jobs / 10,750 requested items. Rights integrity remains clean. Final 1.0 remains unpromoted. Automated/static accessibility evidence #1 is now persisted; one live footer contrast defect was corrected from ~4.26:1 to ~5.34:1. The full manual/browser/device WCAG audit is still pending; signed Android and iOS remain blocked on real signing credentials.

31 rights-cleared hosted assets: 17 images + 14 videos. Fresh launch QA remains 100/100 HTTP 2xx with 0 timeout/transport errors, 0 HTTP 429 and 0 HTTP 5xx. Four rights-integrity gaps remain at zero. Campaign processing is now observable: all 25 supported YouTube queue jobs have a recorded worker attempt, while 8 unsupported web/TikTok jobs are paused rather than counted as active backlog. Active queue: 25 jobs / 10,750 requested items. The earlier harsher 200-request/5-second burst ceiling remains tracked rather than hidden.

Accessibility QA
The BrightWatcher RLS blocker is cleared: all 40 bw_core tables now have Row Level Security enabled, and internal tables remain closed to anon/authenticated roles. Final 1.0 is still pending on accessibility/device QA and blocked on signed mobile credentials.
