RelayDesk Web 2.0.2 Release Notes

RELAYDESK WEB 2.0.2 · RELEASE NOTES

A calmer feed, not just more messages.

2.0.2 improves the actual Unified Feed behavior: repeated Matrix syncs now merge and deduplicate history, conversations can collapse into one latest-item view, source/account context is visible, and Matrix capabilities are clearer.

What changed

Conversation grouping

Use Grouped / Messages to switch between the latest item per conversation and the raw message list.

Duplicate suppression

Incremental Matrix sync results are merged by event ID instead of replacing the feed or accumulating duplicates.

Source & account badges

Feed cards now show provider/account context and grouped-message counts where relevant.

Capability labels

The Matrix connector now states what the current preview can and cannot do: read/send now; attachments and reactions later.

Architecture unchanged

Matrix remains the first bridge/transport adapter. RelayDesk still owns the canonical feed and adapter registry, so Microsoft Graph, Slack, email and future direct adapters can coexist without changing the main feed.

Still a developer preview

Use a test Matrix account/access token. The current browser preview keeps that token in session storage. Production authentication and long-lived secret handling still need a hardened server-side/session architecture.
