RelayDesk Web 2.0.3 Release Notes

RELAYDESK WEB 2.0.3 · APPLICATION SHELL + MOBILE UX

The web page becomes the application.

2.0.3 moves RelayDesk toward a real daily-use communication application: desktop conversation workspace, mobile navigation, conversation detail, connector health and persistent feed preferences.

What shipped

  • Desktop two-column feed + conversation workspace inside the main application shell.
  • Conversation detail view with thread history and adapter-aware reply composer.
  • Unread counts per grouped conversation.
  • Persistent session preferences for selected view, filters and grouping.
  • Connector health panel showing Matrix homeserver, account, last sync and local feed cache.
  • Mobile bottom navigation and phone-sized conversation screen.
  • Matrix read/send capability boundaries remain explicit.

Mobile direction

RelayDesk remains web-first. The realistic mobile path is mobile-first web application → Progressive Web App (PWA) → thin iOS/Android wrappers after production authentication and connector security are stable. This avoids building three separate products.

Architecture remains pluggable

Matrix continues as the first bridge/transport adapter. Conversation UX, grouping, deduplication, priority, search and connector state remain RelayDesk-owned behavior so Microsoft Graph, Slack, email and future direct adapters can plug into the same application.
