This tool helps identify a packaged food and check its kosher evidence. It will never declare something kosher merely because the ingredients “look fine.” A trusted certification mark or verified product record is required for a strong result.

Tap the certification you can actually see on the package. This is stronger than an ingredient guess, but still check suffixes such as Dairy / Meat / Passover.
Kosher stays first. Halal and other certifications are kept separate because their rules, certifiers and community standards are different. This beta section only links to official/reputable verification sources; it does not convert a barcode match into a religious ruling.
Certification can change after reformulation, factory changes, or labeling errors. OU itself advises consumers to check labels regularly, and kosher agencies publish alerts. When the result matters or is unclear, verify with the certifier or your rabbi. This scanner is a study/consumer aid, not a replacement for a posek [halachic decisor].
