RELAYDESK WEB RELEASE
Web 2.1.5 – People + Threads
This release adds a person-centric layer above the Unified Workbench so RelayDesk can organize communication around humans instead of forcing the user to think in provider silos.
What changed
- New People view on desktop and mobile.
- Communication is grouped by person while every provider/account remains visible.
- The same demo contact, Sarah Johnson, now appears through both Outlook and Teams to prove cross-source grouping.
- RelayDesk Test Lab contacts are grouped through the same person model.
- Opening a person returns to the Unified Inbox with that person’s combined history filtered across providers.
- Visible app marker updated to WEB 2.1.5 / RD1-215 – PEOPLE + THREADS.
Architecture
Provider/Test streams -> normalization -> Combined Feed -> person identity/alias grouping -> Attention Workflow -> Unified Workbench. Matrix remains a pluggable transport family rather than the RelayDesk core.
Truth boundary
Web 2.1.5 uses deterministic names/test aliases in the developer preview. Production identity resolution will require user-controlled contact linking, provider IDs and safe alias rules. RelayDesk must never silently merge two different people simply because their display names match.
