RelayDesk Web 2.1.8 Release Notes

RELAYDESK WEB RELEASE

Web 2.1.8 – Connector Telemetry

This release makes connector health visible while keeping the 2.1.7 low-memory policy, People view and Unified Threads intact.

What changed

  • Visible app marker updated to WEB 2.1.8 / RD1-218 – CONNECTOR TELEMETRY.
  • Connectors now includes Health & resource policy.
  • WhatsApp reports Adapter Only or Temporary Web requested.
  • Matrix reports Configured or Needs setup.
  • Test Lab and Unified Feed expose current event counts.
  • RelayDesk estimates local preview cache size and shows JavaScript heap only when the browser exposes it.
  • Exact operating-system/per-tab RAM is explicitly not claimed.

Resource principle

Provider UI is not the connector. RelayDesk prefers adapters and bridges that keep provider web applications out of memory, especially WhatsApp. Telemetry reports this policy so users can see whether a connector requires a resident UI.

Next

The next lab milestone is a dedicated-account WhatsApp bridge test, followed by historical connector telemetry, last-sync/error stages and the first production-quality direct provider adapter.
