Future mobile apps can request permission for selected measurements through platform health frameworks. Nothing is connected in this WordPress prototype.
HOW A REAL CONNECTION SHOULD WORK
1. Choose source
Patient chooses the provider, lab or device source.
2. Authorize
Explicit sign-in/consent with the source.
3. Import
Only approved data types are retrieved.
4. Revoke
Patient can disconnect and control future sync.
Production integrations require technical agreements, authentication, security, consent, data-retention rules and privacy/legal review. FHIR availability varies by organization and jurisdiction.
