# CarrySkills v3.9.1 — Active Skills User Guide

## What changed
CarrySkills can now keep a small **Active Skill stack** for the task you are working on instead of acting only as a download catalog.

## Fast workflow
1. Open **Use Skills**.
2. Write your task or choose a **Skill Recipe**.
3. Review the selected Active Skill stack.
4. Choose a **Safety profile**: Strict, Balanced, or Explorer.
5. Choose the target AI: ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Gemini, Codex, or Universal.
6. Build the prompt pack. CarrySkills performs a local Skill safety preflight first.
7. Copy the prompt, open your target AI account, or download the prompt/Skill bundle for use elsewhere.

## Safety profiles
- **Strict (recommended):** read-only first and stops restricted/powerful Skills until you deliberately switch profile.
- **Balanced:** allows powerful legitimate Skills with warnings and confirmation/rollback rules.
- **Explorer:** permits broader experimentation, but hard safety blocks remain active.

Explorer never disables the hard gate. CarrySkills still blocks high-risk prompt-injection patterns, credential theft, suspected live private keys/tokens, unsafe metadata-network targets, hidden bidirectional Unicode controls, and other blocked content.

## Workspace settings
You can control:
- read-only first;
- confirmation before destructive/production changes;
- secret redaction;
- evidence/source requirements;
- 3, 5, or 7 automatically suggested Skills;
- concise, standard, or thorough output;
- whether the selected stack is remembered on this browser;
- whether task text is remembered locally (off by default for privacy).

## Use the Skills somewhere else
The portability features remain first-class:
- **Download SKILL.md** for the raw portable Skill;
- **Portable ZIP** for the Skill folder and supporting files;
- **Copy SKILL.md**;
- **Download selected** to combine several Skills;
- **Active stack .md** to save the current working team/task/settings;
- **Skill ZIP** from the Active Workspace;
- AI-specific prompt packs for your own accounts.

CarrySkills does not need a paid model API for this workflow.


## Updates and rollback
Normal CarrySkills releases can be delivered through WPWriter without a manual phone upload. Keep the versioned release ZIP anyway. The updater creates a full rollback package before installation. In **Recent backups**, backups created by v3.9.1 or later show **files + safe state** and can be restored by an administrator. Secrets are not stored in the state snapshot and are not overwritten during rollback.
