R170 updates the private Diagnostics and Backup & Restore safety layer while preserving the R140 external Daily Audio reader and R160 phone acceptance gate. Diagnostics retains the source-locked 18-Part / 457-question audit and now checks current R140/R160 reader markers. Backup & Restore is format v7 and fails closed if a declared source-lock contract conflicts with 18 Parts / 457 official questions. Public Daily Audio, Weekly Parsha and Calendar continuity remains excluded from private recovery. No canonical religious/source content, WordPress role/capability, database schema or plugin binary changed. Android/iOS remain in scope; physical phone playback and browser-side full 457/restore execution remain evidence-gated. Windows, Vercel and WPVibe remain excluded.
R140 repairs the Daily Audio regression by moving the reader program out of WordPress page-body JavaScript and into an external application/javascript asset. The visible reader now uses the five Torah books first, loads real chapter indexes and stored English/Hebrew source through the verified JSON gateway, supports Previous/Next chapter and Read from here, highlights and scrolls only after real speech starts, and advances progress only from speech-start events. The corrupted R130 inline reader is retired. Database verification confirms Genesis 50 chapters, Exodus 40, Leviticus 27, Numbers 36 and Deuteronomy 34. Hebrew remains device-voice and review-gated; physical-device audio acceptance is still pending your Samsung test. Private Family/Conversion content and the 457-question authority are unchanged. Windows, Vercel and WPVibe remain excluded.
